My entry for :iconsilentreaper:'s contest she's holding for her comic "Hot Mess". Here are the rules: [link]

Now for my paragraph:

In my entry I decided to represent two parts of my own psyche. The first part is the pink parakeet, which I named Bon-Bon. He represents the part of me with good judgment. He always knows the right thing to do and he tells me what is best for me. While Bon-Bon does look after my health, sadly he isn't the part of me that I always listen to. The second part is the hyena, named Craig. He's the part of me that acts on impulses and often fails to see the long-term effects of those impulses (and loves sweets xD). He isn't very smart, unlike Bon-Bon, however his booming voice and use of repetition is hard to ignore, and so I take his decisions more into consideration than poor Bon-Bon's. While the comic is more humorous than anything, it is meant to show these two in an average situation, and how their opinions tend to clash and overall cloud my judgment. xP

This comic isn't too far off from how I usually think when junk food is in front of me.

lol, similar things happen to my mom when she goes on diets, only she doesn't flat out ignore small cravings. If she's craving some chocolate, she just grabs a fun-sized candy bar and eats it, then her craving goes away. If she denies the chocolate, it gets big enough to where she eats a normal sized candy bar. =P

Well, my mom IS a big-time chocolate lover. She's really good at sticking to her diet, but she has a really hard time losing the last 10-20 pounds because it's baby fat. =P

My mom's been trying to lose weight for the longest time, now. She tries not to pick on junk food, and always gives me lip when I'm eating junk, but then I'll catch her eating it later on. xD
