But anyway, I was GOING to open up my Art Trades this week to get in more art for Acting Out, but Alayna (
) suggested this great idea of both of us offering commissions so that we can save up to buy a 36-marker set of Copic Markers online. Which is aaabboouuuutttt....$200. We have a lot of work to do. C:Offers:
These are anything goes commissions. Suggest any style, any character(s), any color scheme, any size, whatever category you may have a preference in. And I shall draw it! U_U
I'm offering to make the following:
-Simple Pieces (by "simple", I mean that it's just a picture, not some site graphic or anything like that. These can be as big and complex as you request them to be. C: )
-Website Layouts
-Logos (for websites, bands, etc.)
-Comic Pages
-Site Graphics (such as banners, buttons, etc.)
-Photoshop pictures sent by you
Process
To request a commission for any of the items above, you can either send a note to me here on dA, or you can e-mail me at accasperberry3000@hotmail.com. Just tell me:
-Your name
-What you want me to make for you
-A description of what you want in your commission
-Any references you think that I may need
From there, I'll continue to discuss with you on your commission to make sure that I know precisely what you want. When I have enough information, I'll be able to tell you the price of the commission. If you're happy with that price, I'll start your commission and contact you when it's finished. I'll first send you a sample image with a watermark on it. If you're happy with the sample, you can send the money in USD through PayPal (I'll give you all that info also) and I'll send you the real commission. If there's something you find wrong with the commission, just tell me and I will fix it free of charge.
Prices:
I price my commissions by the details you want, such as the outlining, coloring, shading, etc. My commission prices are very reasonable, so here's an estimate on how much you commission may cost:
Style/Outline: $5-$9 (The price of the style will depend on how challenging/realistic the style you've chosen is. If you'd like to save money on this portion of your commission, I would suggest picking a simple, more cartoony style).
Color: $1 (Adding color to your piece only costs $1 extra. If you'd like to save money on this one as well, I can make your piece transparent for you to color yourself, if you'd like.)
Shading/Shine: $0.15 each (Opting for both shading and shine will cost $0.30, a small fee for adding depth to your piece. Choosing a style that has solid black shading will not require the shading fee, for that shading will be part of your outline.)
Background: $2-$4 (Backgrounds are entirely optional when requesting your piece, but the price for putting a background in will depend on how detailed/complicated the background you've chosen is.)
(Yes, these are the same prices as
's commissions. We're offering the same prices so that we're not competing with each other.)These prices apply to any image(s) part of your commission. Here's extra pricing for some of the other items I'm offering:
For Website Layouts:
Tables: $.15 each
HTML: $2.50-4 (This would be for one page. If you want me to make a different HTML code for multiple pages, the price will go up.)
For Logos:
All logos will be $1-2, depending on how complex it is.
For Comic Pages:
In addition to the cost resulting from the outline/coloring/shading and shine/background, each panel in a comic page shall cost $.50 each. You can choose any style you would like the panels to be set up in.
For Site Graphics:
HTML: $1-3 (Coding for graphics is much less complicated than an entire layout, so the pricing on this HTML is much less than the HTML for the web layouts.)
For Photoshopped Pictures:
All photoshopped pictures will be $.25-1, depending on how complex the request is. You can also request that I photoshop multiple pictures together.
(I'll also allow haggling prices as long as they stay in the ranges that I gave.)

If you're not a member on smackjeeves, you should probably bookmark that link, so you can keep checking up on the page. I'm hoping to get a lot done over this month (it's the last month of summer?! Already?! D: ), so there might be a lot of changes and new stuff on the site.
Although there won't be any new comics added here, I'll still be posting any art and extras I make for Acting Out. And of course, I'll keep a link to the site in my journal. C:
Oh, and there's a new Acting Out comic coming out 6 hours from now, and it's a part 1 to a short plot called "Marcus's Rant". This is only 5-6 pages, and it isn't a serious plot at all. It's more like a bunch of gag comics that connect with each other.
also gave me the idea for one of the comics in this series. So yeah, you know it's gonna be good. 
Finally, I made a bunch more traditional pictures, and I'm begging my mom for a scanner. Luckily scanners aren't as expensive as copic markers (weird, huh? O_o), so she might just go for it. And I might as well ask now before I'm older and have to get a job to buy what I want. I could get a job now if I wanted to (I'm 15
), but I don't really feel like looking for one just yet. I'm such a bum. :,DSorry for the reeaaallly long journal. Please buy a commission? Pretty please?! So I didn't have to waste all this time making this super long journal?! And I can get copic markers?!
