...and I completely hated the story...T_T
I couldn't help but feel sad, because I know that the first prewrite was better. But I could never bring myself to rewrite the entire prewrite all over again. I've worked on promoting the comics so much now that I'm completely bored with the story.
But this doesn't necessarily mean that I won't make the comics. This is a common thing for me, and all it'll take to reinspire me is a song or a piece of artwork; something that allows me to think of another part to the story and make it more interesting. And even if all fails, I believe I can push myself to make the comics anyway, since I'll probably get more inspired with the story as it goes on. Plus, I don't technically have to go by every part of the prewrite. I could cut out some parts that I think are stupid or don't flow well with the story. Basically I can make it work. However, I don't want to go through all that trouble unless I'm absolutely sure that people are interested in the comics.
Now, there has been something that I've been thinking about lately that I currently have a lot of inspiration to do. It's a gag comic, probably shown on Smackjeeves only (which I would always link to here for those who are interested). It has animal characters (anthropomorphics), and it's basically about a bunch of child actors/actresses in their school's drama club. I'm still not sure about the title nor the names of all the characters, but I do have designs and a few jokes down already. Here's a picture of what I think the main character would look like:

He's a red panda. I'll probably reveal more of his personality when I'm sure that I'll be able to do this. So yeah, the comic is about a bunch of kids in their school's drama club. The red panda will be the main character, but other than him, there'll be many other kids included that won't be defined as "main character" or "secondary character". Kinda like how the show "Hey Arnold!" was? How they had all of the kids and they were just kinda friends with each other and nobody except Arnold really stood out as a main character? Have you guys seen that show? I hope you have; it was a great show, dammit.
Aaaaanyway, all of the characters will be animals. They basically hang out on set and their auditorium, joking around and getting into shenanigans. There'll also be a few pop culture references to real plays and broadway musicals. Fun.
So now it's come to this: Do you think I should continue with the AACC Chronicles, get over my boredom, and create the plot comic that I been waiting ever-so-long to make? OR do you think that I should dump that old idea, and instead make this new, funny, colorful, and exciting gag comic that I'm also dying to make? I'm leaving it up to YOU guys, because it'll be you who will be reading one of these comics. Which do you think you would be more interested in?
Please send me a note with your vote on which idea I should go with. Here, I'll give you guys a link to your notes page so it's more convenient:

Just type "accasperberry3" where it says "Recipient(s)". Title it "poll" or something, I don't care.
I appreciate your participation in this.
